Chinese herbs are a natural non-toxic safe combination of plant materials. Some of the formulas used today date back to the Huang Ti Nei Jing more commonly known as The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine written around 200 -400BC. There is good evidence that veterinary acupuncture was used as long ago as 2000BC to 3000BC in the Zang and the Chow dynasties. The first book on veterinary acupuncture was written by General Sun Yang in 650 BC called Bai Le Zhen Jing or Bai Le’s Cannon of Veterinary Medicine.
